Vineyard and Lamborghini Factory

Yesterday we all got a chance to spend a beautiful day out! For the majority of us, we spent our day at a vineyard taste testing some different types of wine and exploring the family vineyard. We had a beautiful, very hot day outside during our taste testing. We were very thankful for the tents provided by our lovely new friend Hector! Hector is the third generation of running this gorgeous family vineyard. He let us in on all the interesting history and facts of the different types of wine that his vineyard produces. The view we had from our taste testing was magnificent. We were also thankful for the finger foods that were produced on their land. The food included sundried tomatoes, olives and such.

The day started with our group heading out to take a bus to head out into the town near the family vineyard. After spending the early afternoon in town we got some lunch and then headed out on our hour long walk in the blazing Italian sun to the vineyard. Upon arriving, we were all blown away from the breathtaking house and view. As we ate and taste tested, we all admired the view. Afterwards, with much generosity, Hector allowed us to use the backyard to take photos, swim a little, and even use the trampoline! Overall it was a beautiful day. After we finished spending a couple hours on the vineyard and hanging around the backyard, we returned to the town to meet up with the boys who attended the Lamborghini museum and headed out to dinner. The boys told us all about the cool cars they saw at the museum. Altogether everyone enjoyed their day.  It was a beautiful day that is sure to go down in all of our top memories of the trip. We are all grateful to have this experience and hope to come again someday!
