A Fabulous Day in Galway

Please wait for our first student post with all the details, this is just a quick update for today. It was an incredibly busy but fun day in Ireland for our group. We left early in the morning for a full day tour of the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher. The weather cooperated and we were able to see the Ireland that everyone expects to see: rock walls, country laneways, abbeys and castles and finally the amazing Cliffs of Moher. Back to Galway just in time for another great dinner and then off to a book launch for a local author as part of the Arts Festival. We heard a reading from the book "Tales from Galway" and then were treated to a local story before being served some snacks. It was a full day. Tomorrow we are off to the Aran Islands where we will rent bikes and cycle around the island.
