Arrival in Galway

We have just returned from our first class in Galway. The university is in a lovely setting with excellent high tech classrooms, a true university experience for the students. Most of the students are now making their way to downtown Galway for lunch and perhaps, a little shopping. Yesterday, our group arrived to Corrib Village, our residence in Galway, around 1pm after a very uneventful flight and bus trip. The weather was typically Irish, nevertheless, we headed downtown to explore a little before dinner. The students were awesome and found the town easy to navigate. Back to the university for a fabulous meal and then back to our rooms for a relaxing and, in most cases, early night. Today's weather is much better and the forecast is for mostly sunshine (keep your fingers crossed). Tomorrow is our visit to the Cliffs of Moher...stay tuned for some pictures and an update.
