Cliffs of Moher
Our trip to the Cliffs of Moher was the first excursion of many to come. It was a long bus ride to the cliffs with a few short stops in between. Our first stop was a castle situated right next to a bog. The next stops took us to a cemetery, a cathedral and an ancient rock tomb. We arrived at the cliffs just after lunch in time for a few hours of sightseeing. The cliffs were breathtaking and definitely larger than expected. We trekked up to the best spot at the cliffs, O'Brien's tower. Many pictures were taken of both cliffs and cows. There was also an interesting museum to learn about the history of the cliffs. On the ride home we all slept after the long day.
After dinner we went to see an Irish story teller at the Cottage Bar in Galway. They had to move us outside because we overflowed the bar. The storyteller was exceptionally unique and his stories were hilarious. After the stories we were so tired we all had a good night sleep.
